Fincome is a SaaS platform designed to help businesses with recurring revenue models easily track and manage their finances. The goal is to connect billing systems—whether it’s Excel, billing tools, or others—and allow businesses to focus on analyzing their financial data, such as MRR, renewals, churn rates, LTV, etc. With Fincome, users can effortlessly report on KPIs, share insights, and generate forecast scenarios. Ultimately, the platform aims to help businesses understand trends and make informed strategic decisions.

Before adopting MeltingSpot, Fincome faced a challenge: providing clients with easy access to practical, strategic resources on how to use the platform effectively.
"We had a website and a help center, but we weren’t sharing videos or courses on those platforms," says Lou Pintapary, CSM at Fincome. "Our clients needed more interactive and hands-on resources to really understand the value of our platform."

Transforming Training with MeltingSpot

For Fincome, MeltingSpot was never going to be a mandatory tool for their customers—after all, the platform doesn’t require users to complete specific tasks. But it did offer a new way to engage customers and provide valuable resources. "The main goal of MeltingSpot was to create a simple way to share resources so that clients could independently find practical information on how to use the tool," Lou explains.

By centralizing live sessions and creating an academy of tutorial videos, Fincome made it easier for clients to learn key features and get the most out of the platform. "We use MeltingSpot to host live sessions focused on the tool itself, giving our clients a deeper understanding of how to navigate the platform. It's a great way to ensure they know how to leverage all the features," Lou adds.

Delivering Value through Educational Content

The majority of the content Fincome shares via MeltingSpot revolves around practical video tutorials. These tutorials guide clients through essential tasks, such as connecting billing systems, segmenting clients, and merging customer data. "For example, we have tutorials on how to connect billing systems, how to segment clients, and how to merge clients within our tool," Lou shares. This hands-on approach allows clients to become more independent and knowledgeable, which in turn helps them derive more value from the platform.

Observing Trends and Looking Ahead

While the results so far haven’t been huge—partly because clients haven’t yet fully embraced the academy on their own—Lou is optimistic about the future. "We haven't seen massive results yet, as clients aren’t actively seeking out information in the academy by themselves. But I’m sure it’s because we haven’t pushed it enough yet. For example, adding widgets would make it much more accessible," Lou reflects.

However, Lou is confident that with more proactive engagement and feature updates, the academy will grow in value and usage, further cementing Fincome's position as a credible and helpful resource for its clients.
